Day 02 Day Guided Tour of Kathmandu Valley.

Today, we have full day guided tour of the richest historical and cultural highlight in Kathmandu valley. The main touristic attraction of Kathmandu Valley, we visit are- Kathmandu durbar square (Historical Durbar Square), Monkey temple (Buddhist Stupa, a place where harmony of Nepal religion stays together), Bouddha (The Greatest Buddhist Stupa of the world, known as world peace stupa), Pashupatinath temple (Biggest Hindu Temple of Nepal, riverside, cremation place). Evening, we organize a short meeting again, it is a time to re-check your clothing and gear and organize your sleeping bag and down jacket etc. Over night at Kathmandu.
Day 03 Drive to Pokhara Valley- 5 to 6 Hours Drive (210 Kms)

Today, we drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by private vehicle. This drive is natural and scenic with driving through local hilly region, landscapes areas and along the riverside as well. You will reach to Pokhara hotel in about 5-6 hours drive. You will have free afternoon to explore Pokhara valley and Lake side. In evening, boating in Fewa lake. O/N Pokhara.
Day 04 Drive from Pokhara to Jomsom Valley (158kms- 7 to 8 Hours Drive)

As we climb higher, reaching beyond Kalopani, the scenery undergoes a fascinating transformation. Our journey culminates in Jomsom, the bustling headquarters of the Mustang Valley. Tonight, we'll settle in for a comfortable stay in Jomsom. Take the opportunity to explore this vibrant town at your own pace, soak in the mountain vistas, or simply relax and reflect on the enriching experiences of this incredible tour.
Day 05 Drive from Jomsom to Muktinath (4-5 Hours Drive)

Today's adventure takes us on an uphill drive from Jomsom to the sacred site of Muktinath, nestled amidst the awe-inspiring landscapes of the Annapurna region. Winding our way through the lower Annapurna region, the path offers panoramic vistas of snow-capped peaks and lush valleys.
Muktinath holds significance as the gateway to the challenging Annapurna Circuit Trek, accessible through the Thorong La Pass, the highest mountain pass in the world. As we approach Muktinath, its spiritual essence begins to envelop us.
In the afternoon, we'll embark on a cultural pilgrimage, visiting the renowned Muktinath Temple and the Nunnery Buddhist Temple. Day 07 Drive to Lo-Mangthang (5-6 Hours Drive)

Our adventure begins with a scenic ascent through Charang La pass. As we climb, panoramic views of the majestic Annapurna and Nilgiri ranges will leave you speechless. Along the way, we'll stop by the historic Sherdup Monastery and Ghar Gompa Monastery, immersing ourselves in the region's rich spiritual culture.
Finally, we reach Lo Manthang, a hidden gem nestled amidst the stark beauty of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a cultural exploration, visiting several significant monasteries:

Day 08 Explore Day In Lo- Manthang

Today in Lo Manthang promises an unforgettable adventure! After a nourishing breakfast, we embark on a captivating exploration of the region's unique history and culture.
Our first stop takes us to the ancient Namgyal Gompa, a magnificent monastery offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Next, we embark on a journey back in time, venturing into the fascinating Sky Caves of Chhoser. These remarkable caves, dating back over 3,000 years, once served as homes, meditation spaces, and even final resting places for the inhabitants of Upper Mustang. We'll learn about the fascinating practice of sky burial, still practiced in some remote regions, and gain insights into the lives of the region's past inhabitants.
Our exploration continues with a scenic drive to Kora La pass, marking the border between Nepal and Tibet. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking panorama and appreciate the unique position of Lo Manthang nestled amidst towering mountains. Finally, we'll meander back through picturesque valleys, returning to our cozy accommodations in Lo Manthang, brimming with memories of this extraordinary day.
Day 09 Lomanthang to Yara via Charnga -Dhee village

Today, our Upper Mustang adventure takes us to the charming village of Yara, nestled in the region's southernmost corner. To reach this hidden gem, we'll retrace our steps, returning to Ghami before embarking on a new path.
Our journey eastward follows the scenic basin of the Kaligandaki River, a constant companion throughout our travels. As we progress, the landscape unfolds, revealing the village of Tsarang. This bustling village boasts traditional thatched houses spread across a vast expanse, offering a glimpse into the region's unique architectural style. A prominent landmark in Tsarang is the Sungda Chorten, a captivating structure adorned with intricate carvings and standing as a testament to centuries-old Tibetan architecture. We'll delve into the local heritage and appreciate the craftsmanship evident in this cultural treasure.
Continuing our journey, we'll traverse narrow river alleyways, navigating the charming village of Surkhang. From here, the road ascends, taking us closer to our final destination for the day - the classic hamlets of Yara. Perched at an elevation of 3,607 meters, Yara village exudes timeless charm. This small village presents a unique spectacle with its mud-brick houses stacked one upon another, creating a picture-perfect scene. Day 10 Visit Ghara village, Luri gompa & drive to Tangge

Today's journey takes us deeper into the heart of Upper Mustang, where captivating villages and ancient monasteries await. We'll take a short tour, immersing ourselves in the local culture and marveling at the unique way of life in this remote region.
Next, we embark on a pilgrimage to the revered Luri Gompa, also known as the Kagyukpa cave monastery. This sacred site holds immense significance for Buddhists worldwide. Located on the banks of the Duyung River, which originates from the holy Damodar Kunda, Luri Gompa is believed to have been built in the 13th or 14th century. It’s red exterior, painted with soil, adds to its unique visual charm. Standing before a majestic rock wall, Luri Gompa offers a sense of awe and tranquility. The intricate paintings adorning the walls are said to resemble the Newar Thangka style found in Kathmandu, offering a fascinating connection between different cultural influences.

Day 11 Drive Back to Jomsom

Our route takes us through the vibrant village of Kagbeni, situated at the confluence of the Jhong and Kaligandaki rivers. This bustling town offers a glimpse into the local way of life, with its unique architecture and bustling marketplace.
We continue southward, following the path alongside the ever-present Kaligandaki River basin. The scenery transforms, showcasing the diverse landscapes of the Himalayas. By lunchtime, we arrive in Jomsom, a hub of activity nestled amidst the majestic mountains. After refreshing ourselves and enjoying a hearty meal, we embark on a visit to the Jomsom Eco Museum. Day 12 Drive to Tatopani (5-6 Hours Drive)

We continue our journey, passing through Kobang and Kalopani villages, each with its own distinct charm and local character. As we descend beyond Kalopani, the landscape transforms, transitioning from arid terrains to verdant greenery.
