Visit Nepal Year 2020
Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada on Tuesday, 29th May, 2018 presented the federal budget and announced the launch of Visit Nepal year 2020 with the goal of attracting 2 million foreign tourists in to the country yearly.
The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) had planned to organize ‘Visit Nepal Year’ in 2020 to create the more employment opportunity by enhancing the number of tourist which will be supportive towards the journey of prosperity of the country already and now. Nepal Government has allocated the budget for campaign make more concrete plan to meet the goal of bringing 2 million tourists in the year.
To highlight the adventurous tourism and sector of tourism Nepal government had already commenced the similar types of event in 1998 and 2011 as well and as “Visit Nepal 1998” and “Nepal Tourism Year 2011” and these campaigns was grandly successful. This is very significant festival for the tourism entrepreneur so, private sectors of tourism are very delighted to welcome more tourists and offer many tourism activities to make tourist holidays in Nepal more memorable and comfortable.
