The adventure along the way includes Namche Bazar, Lukla and exploring the mystery of Kalapatthar and nearby Solukhumbu. The scenic side of Dudh Koshi and the majestic views from altitude trekking are the top area attractions.
The Everest region is known for its biodiversity. When you trek the hills, you'll see that it's combined with deciduous forests, scattered terraces that supply pine forests, azaleas, juniper shrubs and low mountain shrubs and grass. When passing through the gate of Sagarmatha National Park, there is abundant flora and fauna nearby. Keep your eyes open for Himalayan Tahr, musk deer Pikka, mice, flayed rabbits, and look to the sky for the golden eagle, the peak of the Himalayas Monal (Daphe, the national bird of Nepal). The Khumbu is famous for leopards and snow leopards, and is home to the legend of the terrible snowman, the Yeti.
You'll start this trek by flying into Lukla and climbing the stairs through the Khumbu mountains to the famous Everest Base Camp, (EBC) or to the holy lakes at Gokyo. It will be a marvelous opportunity to grasp the breathtaking views of earth's tallest mountain, Mt. Everest and some glamorous views of Ama Dablam, Taweche, Thamaseku, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse and many more. Everest Base Camp (5,364m), Kala Patthar (5,550m) and Gokyo Peak (5,350m) are the highlights for most travelers. In addition to these highlights, the high passes such as Renjo La Pass (5446m), Cho La Pass (5420m) and Kongma La Pass (5535m) will be an exciting expedition for you.
