Day 02 Flight - Paro. Timpu

Today we enjoy a delicious breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive towards Punakha. Ascend to Dochula Pass, a breathtaking vantage point at 3,140 meters. Take a leisurely stroll, savor a cup of coffee or tea at a local cafe, and soak in the captivating scenery.
After your arrival in Punakha we visit the Punakha Dzong, also known as the "Palace of Great Bliss." Built in the 17th century by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel to commemorate victories over the Tibetans, this dzong stands majestically at the confluence of two rivers. Explore its rich history as the former religious and administrative center of Bhutan, and learn about the coronation of the first modern Bhutanese king within its walls. Day 05 Paro Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery

After a nourishing breakfast we start our day hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest. A Beacon of Faith: A rewarding hike towards the iconic Taktsang Monastery perched precariously on a 900-meter cliff. This revered pilgrimage site holds immense significance for Bhutanese Buddhists. Legend whispers of Guru Padmasambhava, who arrived on the back of a flying tiger in the 8th century. Here, he subdued a demon and meditated in a cave, manifesting himself in eight forms. Day 06 Paro - Flight to Kathmandu

Today after breakfast we are departing Australian Camp, we'll trek to Kande (approximately 1 hour) before enjoying a scenic drive back to Pokhara. The afternoon is yours to explore Pokhara's charm. Day 10 Australian Camp – Pokhara

Today after breakfast we are departing Australian Camp, we'll trek to Kande (approximately 1 hour) before enjoying a scenic drive back to Pokhara. The afternoon is yours to explore Pokhara's charm. Visit the revered Bindyabasini Temple, a 15th-century monument dedicated to the Mother Goddess. Marvel at the dramatic Seti Gorge, carved by a milky mountain river. Learn the story of Davis Falls, named after an unfortunate tourist's fall in 1973. Descend into the mystical Ghupteshwar Mahadev Cave, home to a hidden Shiva temple. As evening approaches, embark on a peaceful boat ride across Phewa Lake, stopping at the enchanting Tal Barahi Temple. Feeling adventurous? Opt for an optional zip line ride, paragliding experience, or even a heart-pounding bungee jump (additional cost applies). After a day of exploration, relax overnight at your Pokhara hotel.
Day 11 Pokhara - Flight to Kathmandu. Bhaktapur

After a morning flight to Kathmandu, we'll embark on an afternoon journey to Bhaktapur. This enchanting city, nestled near Kathmandu, boasts a central square adorned with captivating medieval architecture. Prepare to be amazed by a colossal Buddhist stupa, the imposing Lion Gate, and a sculpture of King Bhupatindra Malla. We'll also explore the Picture Gallery, the gleaming Golden Gate, the fascinating Palace with 55 Windows, the Batsala Temple, and the intriguing Barking Dog Bell. After this we drive back to your hotel in Kathmandu for overnight.
Day 12 Getting to know the surroundings of Kathmandu

After breakfast our journey begins at the Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. Here, you'll gain insights into Hindu burial customs. Next, we head to the Boudhanath Stupa, a revered landmark especially for Tibetan refugees. Its name translates to "Lord of Wisdom," while the Nepalese call it "Khasti Chaitya," meaning "Dew Drop Stupa." Legend has it that during construction, a drought plagued the valley. Locals laid cloths to collect precious morning dew, used to bless the stupa's structures. The entire complex is a fascinating mandala, a representation of the cosmos.
Our exploration continues in Patan, a city steeped in tradition. We'll visit its Durbar Square, a vibrant hub overflowing with Hindu and Buddhist temples and monuments. Patan is a haven for skilled artisans showcasing their creations: intricate jewelry, melodic instruments, sculptures of deities, thangkas (Buddhist paintings), prayer wheels, and beautiful bells.
