The Chitwan National park is one of the finest national parks in Asia; it lies in the lowlands of south-central Nepal, covering an area of 932 sq. km and is listed at World Heritage site since 1984. It is renowned for its variety and amount of wildlife. It is home for some endangered species such as The Royal Bengal Tiger, One horned Rhinoceros, and Leopard, Gaurs as well as Sloth Bear, Monkeys and varieties of Deer, Crocodiles, and Butterflies and over 530 species of colorful birds. The park also offers a variety of flora as well.

Of the 14 national parks and reserves in Nepal, the Royal Chitwan National Park is the oldest and the most popular safari destination for visitors. Situated in the sub-tropical Tarai lowlands, the jungle is home to endangered animals such as the one-horned rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger. Other animals include leopards, wild elephants, Indian bison, sloth bears, crocodiles, pythons, monitor lizards, pangolins, and over 400 species of birds. There are different ways to explore the park, but elephant-back safaris are the most popular. Jeep safaris, guided walks, overnight jungle expeditions and canoe trips are also available. There is a wide choice of accommodation ranging from luxury camps or hotels within the park, to budget options on the outskirts.

Note: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan and return in this program suggested is based at tourist bus, but if you are group of minimum of 2 or more peoples planning this safari trip with us, and wish to add private car/ van drive for your comfort drive instead of tourist bus, the supplement cost of US$- 60 per person is additional. And if you taking a private transfer to this trip, you would be able to add a Jungle Drive in the Chitwan National Park which is for 4 hours and covers the main jungle areas of 25 kms inside the national park, which is a great oppertunity to witness the wildlife of the national park. Extra cost for jungle drive is US$- 30 per person.

Day 01 Kathmandu-Chitwan 
Altitude: 415m/1361ft
Activities: 5-6 hours drive (165 Kms)
Accommodation: Resort in Chitwan
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Pick up from Kathmandu hotel then transfer to Chitwan National Park by tourist bus transport. Upon reaching to our resort based on Sauraha village, check in to room, refreshed up. A meeting will be hold after this and our safari Guide (specialist) will brief you the safari program.  Our Tentative Program: Lunch at Noon. Late afternoon we go for Jungle Walk/Nature walk with Boat ride/ visit to National Park Museum/Sunset at Rapti River. Evening, Dinner with Tharu typical cultural dance and music. O/N at Resort.

Day 02 Whole Day of Wildlife Safari in Chitwan National Park. 
Altitude: 415m/1361ft
Activities: Jungle activities
Accommodation: Resort in Chitwan
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Today we will have full day of wildlife activities inside the park. This is the beautiful day as involves with every activities of wildlife, Jeep safari, canoe ride etc.  Our Tentative Program: Wakeup call followed by tea/coffee, then Breakfast. Drive for Jeep Safari  at national park jungle & Crocodile walk. Return back to resort for lunch. Afternoon, Canoe trip at Rapti River, Jungle Walk etc.. And in the evening, we visit to Elephant stable (Locally called Hattisar), elephant bathing season. Dinner & Overnight.

Day 03 Chitwan- Kathmandu Drive or Transfer to your onward Destination

Activities: Morning activities and transfer
Meals: Breakfast

This morning, we will have nature walk/jungle walk. Return to resort, breakfast then transfer to Kathmandu or to your onward destination by tourist bus.

Also note that our trip leader deserved the final decision if the trip has to amend, change the route or cancel due to the extreme conditions for the safety precaution. Nepal and Nepali people
Nepal has modern banking facilities and some international banks even have offices in Kathmandu. Almost all foreign currencies along with credit cards such as American Express, Visa, and Master card are accepted in Nepal.

Nepali believes that “guests are God” so no need to worry about the safety matter. Although you will be careful about it and always consult your guide. However, you are under our care on any trips you would be joining us so do not have to worry.

Passport & Visa Information 

Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US cash & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.

Nationals of SAARC countries and China do not need visa when visiting Nepal. As per this rule, Indian nationals do not require visa.
 

Transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain Nepalese visa from the following border.

In our trip, the minimum group size would be two and maximum group size is twenty or more on request. We can also organize private trip to solo person with single supplement cost. Else, join our estimated group departure dates available online or ask us with your personal dates, we will open group date on the same date.

Our Guides, trip and safety

Despite the fact that you are with Advanced Adventures P. Ltd, it is very essential that you are accompanied with very experienced and qualified tour guide for the safety and successful of the trip. Our guides are trained and licensed from Nepal Government and fluent in any language as per your need. Our guides are especially for the tour so that they have very good knowledge about the historical places with its entire history and many more. We assure you that your trip is at the right and professional hands.

Meals, Accommodation and Transportation:

While in Kathmandu and any other tour, we use 3 star standard or similar categories hotel on our trips. They are will all the modern facilities, rooms are with attached bath, 24 hours hot/cold water running, back up light if case of no electricity as it is usual at dry season, free WI-FI and internet access.. Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200.

In city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in Safari tour (Either in Chitwan National park or Bardia National park) full board of meals are included (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner with Tea and Coffee). We will offer fresh and hygienic food so that you do not have to worry.

On our every tour, we use deluxe private transport so it is very comfort and convenient as per the tourist requirements. And depending on the group size, car (3 seated), Toyota Van (6 seated and 12 seated), Coaster Bus (22 seated) would be used. Depending on the tour you choose, you might have to use tourist bus for long distance drive which is comfortable and the best tourist vehicles available in Nepal.

(Upgrade hotel to 4 stars or 5 stars is possible in Kathmandu, please write us if you interested)

Tour Best Seasons:

We do have two different best seasons for the mentioned tour which are the best season as we call here in Nepal but we run the tour trip throughout the year.

Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time of the year, best visibility, good Temperature.

Autumn:- (Mid September, October and November) - Excellent weather, crystal clear blue skies, best visibility.

Winter Months: - (December, January and February) - Winter also well, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this accordingly.

Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid June, July and August). We can still run the trip but not the best to be honest.

Travel Insurance and Vaccination:

Travel insurance is compulsory. You are required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance before travelling with us. Please make sure that you know exactly what you are covered for. Make sure that your travel insurance covers trip cancellation insurance, general medical expenses, and hospitalizations.

Vaccination is required to plan to your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information of vaccination you would require to the country you will be travelling. Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for travel Nepal.
