Autumn (September - November): This is the peak tourist season for a reason. The skies are clear and dry, following the monsoon, making it ideal for trekking and enjoying breathtaking mountain views.
Winter (December - January): While the lower regions experience cooler temperatures, it's not as harsh as some might expect. This is a great time for budget-conscious travelers seeking fewer crowds. However, high-altitude trekking is not recommended due to potential snow and freezing temperatures.
Spring (February - May): Spring is the second-busiest season. The weather warms up progressively, with blooming flowers adding to the beauty. However, increased haze can sometimes limit mountain visibility.
Summer (June - August): June marks the beginning of the monsoon season with hot, humid days and frequent rain showers. While lush greenery abounds, heavy cloud cover can obstruct mountain views. This is the least popular time for trekking.
Climate Change Considerations: It's important to note that climate change can affect the start and duration of Nepal's seasons. The monsoon rains may arrive earlier or later than usual, and the spring haze can be more prevalent.
