TREKKING SEASONS:
We do have two best seasons to attempt this trek to Khopra Danda Trek As this trip is a big trip to you, we always suggest you to come at the right time of the year as far as possible.
Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time to trek. Rhododendron flowers in bloom- excellent trails and clear skies, best visibility. Good Temperature, warmest weather of the year.
Autumn: - (Mid September, October and November) - excellent trails, clear blue skies, best visibility.
Winter months: - (December, January and February) are also good, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this. It is up to you to plan this trek at this cold time or not.
Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid June, July and August). But trekking can be done without any hesitation. Bring your raincoat.
MOUNTAIN WEATHER:
The weather conditions in the mountains are notoriously difficult to predict. During the day it can be nice and warm and the nights are generally always cooler. The weather you will experience on Khopra Danda is simply extreme and rather unpredictable so it is best to be prepared for all eventualities. Temperature during the trek to Khopra Danda, the expected temperature during a day is from 5- 10 degree Celsius during the monsoon and spring months and 5 to 8 degree Celsius during the autumn months. The nights can fall into Zero to -5.
However, above given chats of temperature are the expected but temperature can be different as per the everyday weather conditions of the mountain so it is unpredictable. Expect the unexpected!
ACCLIMATIZATION:
There is no way to prepare for altitude other than to spend time at altitude. Being in very good physical condition will help ameliorate some of the exhaustion that people often feel, but it will not prevent altitude caused medical problems such as Acute Mountain Sickness. This itinerary was designed with a high degree of awareness of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) in mind and to ensure a comfortable and safe adventure trek in the Himalayas. Staying well hydrated and getting plenty of rest may help. The maximum elevation of this trek will be reached at Khair Lake at altitude of 4800m above sea level so you have to be prepared to this trek.

Ms. Fiona Ng
Our team of 10 from Malaysia embarked on a truly memorable trip to Nepal In October 2018. We would like to say a big Thank You to Chet and his team of very capable, experienced and caring guides and porters, who made this trip enjoyable and safe for us.The trip went very well and the care and assistance shown to our team members were excellent. A big thank you to our lead guide, Hom, who was the epitome of calmness and patience. His cool, calm and collected demeanour gave us the confidence to complete the trail. Kalu, the assistant guide was very knowledgeable about the trail and we shared some funny moments with him. The other assistant guide, Madoo was ever smiling and cheerful and made the journey pleasant and sweet. Nepal is blessed with exceptionally beautiful scenery and wonderful people. We are glad we had a taste of both when we were there. We shall return!

Our Annapurna Trek
Very professionally-handled trek. Safety standards were very high. Professional, knowledgable, and well-trained guides who were able to provide highly expert advice and support en route. The company was very flexible when parts of the program needed to be changed. Very easy to deal with from afar at the planning stage. Important point: the company implements an ethical policy in taking care of welfare of porters - lodging and food for porters are included. Many other companies do not have this. We had a great time, and felt safe and felt that our needs were looked after.I would happily use the services of this company again for future treks.

Chet Bhatta from Advanced Adventures was very professional, responsive, and to the point.

I did Gokyo lake and Renjo pass in Dec 2017 with this company. Chet, with whom I corresponded a number of times, was very professional, responsive, and to the point. I had a great guide (Deepak). He was very responsible and caring. He also suggested going over the Ranjo pass, which was just great and became one of the highlights of my trip. My porter (whose name was also Deepak) came across as very nice and sweet. All together, I was very happy with my guide, porter, and the company. As a matter of fact, I am thinking to do another trekking with them. I would definitely recommend this company.

Awesome trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, Advanced Adventure made it all the most memorable!
Doing the ABC trek in Nepal was awesome and Advanced Adventures made it all the more memorable! Advanced Adventures has been very hospitable to us throughout our entire trip!
We were very impressed when Chet took time off to personally brief us on the itinerary upon our arrival and hosting us a farewell dinner before our departure. Price was very affordable and itinerary suited us very well, and provided us the flexibility to spend an extra day in Pohkara. We were also impressed with Chet’s ability to arrange for us to return from Pohkara to Kathmandu by flight despite the strikes.
We also had the pleasure of having Ram as a very experienced, responsible and friendly guide took good care of us during the ABC trek. He even went the extra mile to bring us around Pohkara and Kathmandu even after we completed the ABC trek.
We definitely recommend others to consider signing up with Advanced Adventures (http://www.advadventures.com/) on the adventure of a lifetime!
Kind Regards,

OUR GUIDES, TRIP AND SAFETY
Because these hikes take you on the remote Himalayan region, it is very essential that you be accompanied with the very experienced and qualified leader for the safe and successful trip. We Advanced Adventures employee the local trek guide and stuff who are trained and qualified on the trip we worked on. Our guides are trained and licensed from Nepal Gov. certify from Nepal Tourism Board.
At every trip, there would be our one Trek leader and one assistance leader on each additional 2 peoples on the trek- this arrangement would ensure that even if any of our guide/ assistance guides get sick or if any travelers gets sick and need to be back or delay the days of walking, it would still works smoothly and there would not be any impact on our original trek plan. Also each two trekker would have one Sherpa helper for carrying your trekking bags.

So, over all you have a different choice of food on trek.

Memorable and unforgettable trip to the Annapurna Base Camp !
Ms.
