Day 01 Kathmandu to Kyirung
Altitude: 2,800m/9,187ft 185km, 6 - 7 hours’ drive
Accommodation: Guest House
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu we will drive along small mountain road to the border at Nepalese side; on the way you can enjoy the waterfall, river, gorges, forest. Since we pass through Langtang National Park, we are required to deal with a number of check-posts. Overnight stay in Kerung.
Day 02 Kyirungto-Tingri
Altitude: 4,300m/14104ft - 255km 5-6 hours
Accommodation: Guest House

After Breakfast drive uphill to the height plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing of the roof of the world from where weather permitting, breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m) and Mt.Xishapangma (8,012m) on the way see to Pikucho lake overnight at Hotel
Day 03 Tingri –Lhatse- Shigatse
Altitude: 3900m/12792ft - 255km 5-6 hours

Today you will enjoy a great view of Mount Everest from Old Tingri and continue driving through friendship highway, passing the highest pass called Gyatso la at the elevation of 5200m, seeing beautiful prayer flags, and continuing driving towards Shigatse, pass by Lhatse county and then continue to Shigatse at the distance of 150Km. You will enjoy seeing beautiful Tibetan farmer's villages with their beautiful Tibetan traditional houses with prayer flags on the rooftop.
Day 04 Shigatse to Gyantse
Altitude 3,950m/12956ft 90Km- 04 -05 Hours’ Drive

You will start your tour at around 9 Am from your hotel and visit Tashi Lhunpo monastery which is the seat of the Penchen Lama and it is the largest Gelukpamonatery in western Tibet, known as Tsang region. After visiting Tashi Lhunpo, you will be driving to Gyangtse. Have lunch in Gyangtse and then Visit Palchoe monastery and Kubum Pagoda stupa. In the afternoon, explore the old town of Gyangtse.
Day 05 Gyantse to Lhasa
Altitude: 3640m/11,942ft 261 Km 05 -06 Hours’ Drive
Accommodation: Hotel

You will start your tour at around 9 Am from your hotel and then drive towards Lhasa via 3 big mountain passes, Simila, Karo La, and Kampa La, respectively. Karola is the highest pass among them which is over 5000Mts with its most beautiful glaciers, beautiful Yamdrok lake emerged as coral color from the top of Kampala pass. You will have your lunch at Nakartse country which is just between the Yamdrok lake and Karola glaciers.
Day 06 Sightseeing in Lhasa
Altitude: 3640m/11,942ft
Meals: Breakfast
From today, we start our tour. At morning after breakfast, we visit the Lhasa’s cardinal Mark—Potala Palace. You first sight of the Potala will still be an awe-inspiring moment. Drop a visit of Jokhang Temple in the afternoon, which is the spiritual center of Tibet and one of the oldest buildings. Every day, pilgrims from every corner of Tibet trek a long distance to the temple which is the product of Han, Tibetan and Nepalese architectural techniques. Then you will visit Barkhor Bazaar nearby the temple, the oldest street in a very traditional city in Tibet. Visit a big free market with its prolific stalls for selling local specialties. Return back to your hotel and overnight.
Day 07 Sightseeing in Lhasa
Altitude: 3640m/11,942ft
Meals: Breakfast
Day Explore Today we visit two biggest monastery of Tibet, Lhasa. Visit once world’s largest monastery housing with about 10,000 monks--Drepung Monastery, about 8km west of center Lhasa. At the plate roof of hillside, you can have very good views of the whole Lhasa city and the distant mountains. Onward drive to Sera Monastery to catch the “Buddhism Scriptures Debating Session” in Sera which is very famous. Visit Norbu Linka Palace and return back to hotel and overnight.
Day 08 Lhasa to Kathmandu or Main Land China
Meals: Breakfast
After Breakfast drive to Gonggar Airport or Train Station for your departure flight to Kathmandu or to your onward destination

Your tour Guide is Tibetan Certified Guide. He is in good communicate English, knows the places you would visit and make a special look after throughout the trip.
Health & Altitude Problems
Traveling in Tibet involves high altitude and can be strenuous. Clients with heart and lung problems or blood diseases should consult their doctor before booking the trip. Very rare cases of altitude sickness have been reported. Simple headache; fever, loss of appetite or stomach disorders can happen before the acclimatization. Some advice: drink approx. 3 liters of water per day, do not strain yourself, move slowly, breathe deeply and take regular rests.
Customs & Airport
There is no prohibition on still and video cameras, tape recorders or radios as long as they are registered with a custom official. Printed matters considered unsuitable by the Chinese Government are prohibited, Customs regulations forbid the ex- port of art objects created prior to 1959 or souvenirs in amounts deemed to be excessive. There is only one airport in Tibet and only one international flight to Kathmandu, Nepal is in operation.
Clothing & Equipments
From Oct. to March warm clothes are required due to cold and from April to September only light clothes will be enough. However, a jacket and a sweater are advised throughout the year as the weather may unexpectedly change at any time.
Meals & Accommodations
This tour is based with bed (accommodation) and breakfast basis only you have to look after your lunch and evening meals by yourself. Even though, there are many Chinese/Tibetan restaurants in Zhangmu, Nyalam and Shegar, foods are comparatively poor but foods at Sighatse, Gyantse and Lhasa are very nice and you can have your choice of food with your own taste.
Your accommodations will be provided a twin share room. During your tour we will use Kyichu Hotel or similar hotel in Lhasa, Gyantse Hotel or similar hotel in Gyantse, Wutse Grand Hotel or Manasarover Hotel in Xigatse, Shanghai hotel or similor hotel in Lhatse and guest house in guest house in Kerung. Single room supplement will be charge US$-200.

We can depart you for this tour once at a week at Saturday. Except our fixed group departure date, if you need a private tour departure date, write us with your date and number of peoples for the trip.
